


Subhashree Dutta, based in Vietnam, joined Clearwater in 2002. Ms. Dutta is responsible for overseeing credit analysis efforts at Clearwater. Ms. Dutta has been involved in numerous restructurings including participation in lender committees. Ms. Dutta’s regional experience spans Thailand, China, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Korea and Europe. Industry sectors of focus include Infrastructure, Power, Auto and Auto Components, Agriproducts, Real Estate, Alternative Energy, Shipping, Petrochemicals, Mining and Services. Ms. Dutta was involved in the inception of the Mumbai office and has worked for extensive periods from the Hong Kong and New York offices. Prior to joining Clearwater, Ms. Dutta worked at ICICI Ltd. in India in various capacities from 1991 to 2000. During her last assignment at ICICI, as Senior Vice President of the Special Asset Management Group, Ms. Dutta was involved in performing workouts and settlements of large non-performing loans and stressed accounts. Ms. Dutta closed India's first large debt-real estate swap and was involved in the preparation of a report for the CII National Task Force on non-performing loans. From 1998 to 1999, she served as a Vice President in ICICI's Corporate Office and was involved in profit planning and risk monitoring. From 1996 to 1998, also as a Vice President, Ms. Dutta managed a portfolio of $300 million and was responsible for corporate credit underwriting and relationship management. From 1991 to 1996, she was involved in credit research, underwriting and portfolio management for both debt and equity instruments in a number of industries. Ms. Dutta holds a P.G.D.M. degree from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, and is a CFA charter holder and graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
